Privacy Policy
Last updated September 2, 2026
This policy explains what Vibebrator collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
We do not ask you for an account, a name, or an email to read anything here. We do run advertising and we do count outbound clicks. Advertising partners set cookies; we do not sell your data to anyone.
Who runs this site
Vibebrator is an independent publication operated by a single person. For any privacy question, including a request to access or delete data, write to hello@vibebrator.com. You will get a reply from a human.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Server logs | Our host records the standard request data every web server records: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and time of request. Used to keep the site up and to detect abuse. |
| Analytics | None at present. If we add aggregate page-view counts later, this line changes first and the date at the top changes with it. |
| Advertising data | Collected by our advertising partners, not by us. See below. |
We do not ask for or store names, email addresses, payment details, or accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
Cookies and advertising
Today this site sets no cookies at all and runs no advertising. The section below describes what will be true when advertising is switched on, so you can read it before it happens rather than after.
Google is one of those partners. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on this site, and its use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies generally at aboutads.info/choices. More detail is at how Google uses data when you use its partners' sites.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland
We do not currently serve advertising, so no consent banner is shown and no advertising cookies are set. Before any ads appear here, Google requires a certified consent management platform in these regions — you will be asked to accept or refuse, refusing will remain a real option, and this section will be rewritten to describe exactly what is running.
Affiliate links
None of the outbound links on this site are currently affiliate links — they go straight to the tool. If that changes, any paid link will be disclosed here and on the page it appears, it will still cost you nothing, and it will never buy a better rating or a higher position.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not build profiles of individual readers.
- We do not email you, because we do not have your email.
- We do not run session recording, heatmaps, or anything that watches your mouse.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal data is held about you, to receive a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to certain processing. If you are in California, that includes the right to know and to delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising either.
Practically speaking, we hold very little that could identify you. Most requests are best directed at the advertising partners who actually hold the data, and we will tell you which ones and how to reach them. Ask us at hello@vibebrator.com and we will help.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a short period for security and debugging, then discarded. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data and are kept indefinitely. Advertising partners set their own retention periods, described in their policies.
Children
This site is intended for a professional and adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes and the change is described here. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
